Bill: "We are now getting into an age, where it is rather flattering when you get characterized as a teenie." The interview:

Tokio Hotel are currently on the road with their european tour "Welcome to Humanoid City", where they are presenting their 3rd Album. There the Band of four is getting swarmed and pursued by Fans and that daily. Georg Listing is the only one of the Band members who isn’t single anymore. In an interview with the german press agency dpa the four musicians talk about getting married, privacy and the title "Teenie":

All Band members are meanwhile in their early 20s, don’t you want to get rid of the title "Teen-Band"?
Bill Kaulitz: Actually want it back. Because now we’re getting into an age, where it’s rather flattering to be called a "Teenie". We don’t have any problem with that, it’s not insulting.

How will Tokio Hotel sound in ten years?
Tom Kaulitz: You’ll see it then. We’ll go into the studio and do what we want to do. While writing the songs for the new Album, you see in which direction it’ll go. In ten years the process is gonna be pretty similar to the one now.

Will the first band members be married by then?
Bill Kaulitz: I don’t know if somebody wants to get married, Georg…
Georg Listing: In ten years? I can’t estimate that.
Tom Kaulitz: To be honest: Yes, in ten years I’m certain that one of us will be married.

The fans are following your every move. When does it start to get annoying?
Tom Kaulitz: When we’re on tour it’s rather wicked that the people are following you around. Also when you visit other countries and you get welcomed by as many fans as possible – that’s definitely great. It gets annoying when you’re trying to be private. But this doesn’t happen so often, maybe on 40 days a year.

Would you want to exchange one part of your success, against more privacy?
Bill Kaulitz: Of course, when it would be possible I would do it immediately. But when you want to be successfull and lead such a life like we do know, you have to sacrifice something.

Future plans: Model and designer

After graduation, have you thought of getting a classical education like a apprenticeship or study??
Bill Kaulitz: No, that’s never been a topic for us. Graduating was also completely voluntarily. We really only did this for us, because Tom and I are such typical perfectionists when it comes to this. We at least wanted the diploma.

Bill, you were a Model at the Fashion Week in Milan. Will the Fans now see you more often on the runway?
Bill Kaulitz: I could imagine doing that more often, and also to design my own collection, because it’s something that makes me happy.

Tokio Hotel frontman Bill Kaulitz rocks it out on-stage with a Dsquared spiky shoulder creation during their "Welcome to Humanoid City" tour in Oberhausen, Germany on Friday (February 26).

Bill’s twin brother, Tom, allegedly punched a 21-year-old woman in Germany after she put out her cigarette on his windshield. She reportedly was part of a group that harrassed him and Bill’s mother.

He was prosecuted for willful damage to property as well as assault. A German court fined him €1,000.

The band next hits Hamburg on Sunday (February 28) at the Colorline Arena.

Shrill alarm at the Color Line Arena. Tokio Hotel, Germany’s most successful teen-rock band, performs with her "Humanoid-City Tour". BILD presents the concert – and spoke with the twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz.

WHAT IT INCLUDES TECHNICALLY?
• Tokio Hotel are on the road with 11 trucks and 6 buses. Bill: "The bus has an absolute prohibition against groupies, so that Tom can concentrate on the concerts."
• 50 crew members and 4 cooks accompany them.
• Stage facility has 90,000 watts, the screens in the background are more than 70 square meters. Tom: "We never had so many things at a show."

WHAT IS ON THE SHOW?
Tom: "It’s all new, we have prepared this tour a year ago. We made all the decisions by ourselves" Bill: "The only thing that is not new, are the old songs that we play."
Tom, this time, not only plays the guitar but also piano with Bill. He has been rehearsed since November in Hamburg, London and Luxembourg.

WHAT COMES FROM BACKSTAGE!
Bill: "You hear the most spectacular stories of musicians who require a completely white room, or bring their own toilet. We have a corner couch, a refrigerator, a toaster. The music from the laptop. That’s enough." Bill has an extra room in which he warmsings himself. Tom: "We have kicked Bill out of the backstage area, his weird scale exercises make you go insane" Drummer Gustav also has a space in which he warmdrumming himself.
The twins have their two dogs with them.

WHAT WILL COME UP IN HAMBURG?
Bill: "I’ll talk all the time on the Hamburg show. Our home. Our families and friends are there, and when I think of it, my energy is going up!"

The Tokio-Hotel-Twins talk to MOPO about the addiction of succes and enviers.

An egg rolls through Europe. Packed in a heavy goods vehicle, which will make a stop in 32 european cities and also bring the most spectacular Show of Tokio Hotel to Hamburg, on Sunday. The huge Oval is the heart of the specifically for the "Humanoid City"-Tour designed stage, which seems like a mix of a futuristic space staion and a gloomy Metropolis. MOPOP talked in advance with the twin brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz (20).

MOPOP: How do you explain that some Germans still turn up their nose when it comes to Tokio Hotel?
Bill Kaulitz: I think that the perception of Tokio Hotel in Germany is different than in other countries. We live here and also started making music here at the age of 15. We did play the same music in other countries, but our career there started two or three years later. It’s hard to overcome your fear and say: "Yes, I like the music of 15-year-olds." Nobody wants to admit this. And in the end, there are always enviers that come with the success.

MOPOP: Do you think that that’s typical for Germans?
Bill: Yes, but I think it develops more and more into the direction that people start being happy for us. We observe those tendencies. But intense reactions weren’t new to us. And to be honest, it’s always a challenge when something like this happens. When I’m on stage and people start to jeer or something like that, then it mainly encourages me. I don’t start getting shy or sad because of things like that. Instead I think: Okay, then I have to work harder, so that those people who jeer at us also find the things that we do good.

MOPOP: Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters appreciatively patted your drummer Gustav on the back after a performance.
Bill: Yes, that’s how it is. there are other Bands who don’t realise what happens in Germany, and completely impartialy think that the things that we do are good. Jay-Z watched our Show in Los Angeles, and after that also went to dinner with us. You feel honored when somebody like him shows an interest in you.

MOPOP: Does it scare you that your succes limitates your personal space?
Bill: That’s a thing which comes with the success. But we’re also kind of addicted to it. You want more and more of it. Although a lot of people now recommend us to leave over a country where we can go on vacations from time to time, because no one would know us there.

MOPOP: Are you leading a humanoid, human-like life?
Tom Kaulitz: We grew up in the sticks. We never felt normal, we always felt human-like. Today, there are just a few places left where you feel familiar and where you can relax. Because there are just very little moments in which it’s possible to come down. Actually this feeling of familiarity only overcomes us when we’re at home – and we’re there on about 20 days in a year. Apart from that you feel a little alien everywhere you go. In some situations you don’t even know what you actually lost.

The Hardrockers from Kiss like Tokio Hotel.

Frankfurt/Main (RPO). The american hardrockers from the Band Kiss are Fans of the Teenie-Band Tokio Hotel. "They have a good image and they’re making good music", said Bassist Gene Simmons on Friday in Frankfurt/Main. Tokio Hotel are also known in America.

"We like their music", Simmons added. The musicians from Kiss never start playing spontanously on a stage with other musicians. Kiss are known for their painted faces and their extravagant stage costumes. The Band exists since 38 years.

He’s loved or hated, nobody stays unaffected by him: Tokio-Hotel-Singer Bill Kaulitz is on the way to become a global superstar. For the first time the matured Musician talks about the burden of Fame, his fears, the longing for true love – and presents himself in a completely new Look.

Mister Kaulitz, You became a star at the age of 15 and since 5 years you're living permanently under exceptional circumstances. When you look back, what do you feel?
The first years were like a flush. We didn't have to go to school anymore, because it was besieged all the time. I, of course, thought that this was great. We could do what we wanted. But there was also an other side. I remember, that I wanted to celebrate my 16th birthday, but instead I had to give some interviews. It's hard to develop this discipline and to accomodate to such things, it was exhausting.

2 years ago you lost your voice during a concert and you had to undergo a surgery. Now you're on tour with your band Tokio hotel and you'll play 32 concerts in 19 countries. How big is the fear that this'll happen again?
I always carry this fear in me, it never leaves me. But I already played some concerts since then. It'll work out.

Back then, did you think that you won't be able to sing again in the future?
Sometimes yes. My whole life is based on my voice, that's why it was such a horrible time. I was sitting alone in my hotel room in Berlin while the Band waited for me to return to Barcelona, to continue the Tour. I couldn't even talk. I couldn't even get out, because the whole Hotel had been sorrounded by Paparazzi. I felt very helpless. The tour had to be cancelled. I'm glad that this is behind me now.

Tokio hotel was ridiculed as a short-lived teen sensation at the beginning. Meanwhile you're on the best way to become global superstars. Is it a satisfaction for you, that you could show the critics that they were wrong?
I'm over this now. It was important for me to prove that we're not one of those one-hit-wonders when our second album has been released. Now we clarified this.

You played in Paris in front of a crowd of 500 000 people, after you got an invitation from the state president. What do you feel in such moments?
I'm really, really nervous before concerts. It constricts my throat, my heart beats fast and my hands are shaking. Then, when I'm on stage, everything happens as if you're in trance. After the concert I often don't know what I did on stage. The movements kind of happen automatically.

You're under permanent observation, also through the Paparazzi. Is this a fulfillment or a impertinence for you?
I can't live with fame, and I can't live without it. There are days, where I wish I could walk on the streets without being discovered. But what should I do? Bill kaulitz as an office worker, sitting in front of the computer - I would become dilapidated. I do the things, that I do best. Standing on a stage and entertaining people. I get anxious when I watch TV and see an award show where Tokio Hotel aren't present. I want to be on the top. That's my internal force. It's what's holding me together.

Your Band polarizes the mass. One either hates or loves you...
...and that's how it should be. The most horrible thing that could happen is when people wouldn't care about me or what I did anymore. Tokio Hotel should arouse strong emotions in a person. Of course I could dress normally in the morning, to not stand out, but that's simply not who I am.

Is there just an artificial Bill?
It's not that I'm startled when I look into the mirror in the moring, but the Bill who wears make-up is much closer to me. But I'm also not just an artificial character, like many people still think. The ones who make the effort to look at old pictures of my childhood will see that I always ran around like this.

You grew up in a village with 700 inhabitants near Magdeburg with your twin brother Tom.
My childhood was a long struggle. I knew that by stepping into the school bus in the morning, that one half would laugh about me and the other one would insult me. My brother Tom and I felt like aliens on the wrong planet. Sometimes our step father had to get us from the bus stop with our dog and a baseball bat, so that we wouldn't get beaten up.

Did you search this provocation?
Of course. I didn't make life easy for me. I wanted to provoke them. I enjoyed it when I stepped into school in the morning and when one half of our classmates turned around. I know it sounds a littlle neurotic and sick, but that's how it was. I could have never lived with the fact that everyone likes me, because I grew up with polarizing people.

Did the hatred towards you surprise you at the beginning of your career?
When I watch our old Performances and Videos I start to wonder. We were so young and innocent and had those baby-faces. And then there was this enormous hatred towards us. It wasn't just one that people called me a "Fag". Today I find it amusing. I understand that some people had this expression, but that the newspapers still write about this makes me wonder. It has to bore the people to death by now.

Maybe that happens because you never show yourself in company of a women?
Yes, that’s the big gap in my life. I didn’t fall in love since I was fourteen. It’s hard for me to trust people. It may sound clichee, but I’m looking for a girl who’s like a soulmate for me. I’m very romantic and I’m actually waiting for my true love. But I could vomit when girls walk up to me at a party and ask me questions like "Hey, don’t I know you from somewhere. Aren’t you a musician?". That’s a moment where I tense up – but honestly, I don’t know how you could start talking to me without this happening.

Your twin brother Tom is more loose when it comes to dealing with female fans. Do you envy him for that?
Of course. I envy everyone who can deal with situations like those more loosly. Back then Tom was the one who took a different girl with him after every After-Show-Party, while I was lying in my bed, back at the hotel. Groupie-Sex disgusts me. I hate it so much when girls start pushing around, just to be on a picture which will be printed in one of the newspapers tomorrow. Tom is different when it comes to this. But sometimes, when I like a girl, I request of him to stay in contact with her, to call and to keep writing short messages with her. We know everything about each other.

How big is the fear that a girl will sell your story to one of the tabloids?
We always calculate this possibility. We know what could happen, so we always phrase the short messages that we send to them, in a way, with which we could live when they would sell this story to the tabloids. That’s just how it is.

Is it even possible for you to lead a normal life in Germany?
For us, Germany is kind of like a huge Big-Brother-House. The people are always watching us. You can find an article in one of the newspapers almost everyday since I’m fifteen. We’re always filling up the gossip columns. Abroad, that’s different. We’re getting perceived as musicians there, not as people who you can gossip about.

Why aren’t you moving away from Germany, like other celebrities?
I like Germany. That’s where my family lives, and that’s where my home is. That’s where I live together with my four dogs and Tom, in a beautiful house with a big property. When I close the gate, I can rest. I wouldn’t have the heart to turn my back on Germany.

We have the impression that you’re loved more abroad, than here.
There’s not a single person in Germany who would listen to our music without having prejudices. There once was a survey on TV, where they let pedestrians listen to our music without knowing who it was from. Most of them were thrilled. As soon as they knew that it’s Tokio Hotel they made a face. That says everything!

A few months ago, your Band-Colleague Gustav got hit with a beer bottle on the head. Are you scared of assassinations?
I think that this could happen to me. There were situations at the red carpet where our Bodyguards had to pull people – who had camouflaged themselves as fans – out of the crowd, because they stood there with a knife in their hands. I’m also always tense while walking through the airport. I keep my head down and breathe heavily. Sometimes I watch myself from the outside and think: "Hey, Bill, relax!" But it doesn’t work.

How do you spend your free-time?
In the past I went to Clubs every now and then because I wanted to be among people. I thought that this had to work, but as soon as I stepped into the Club, I had to sit in one of the booths at the corner and let myself get goggled at by people. They held their mobiles over the barriers and took pictures, as if they were in a zoo. I can only relax when I’m away from all of that. Recently I was on the Maledives with Tom, but even there Paparazzi took pictures of us.

Recently you surprised us with your appearance as a Model during the Fashion Week in Milan. How did it come to this?
It was a dream that I fulfilled for myself. Already at the age of seven I bought cheap T-Shirts and Jeans to make my own clothes out of them. When the time comes, I’ll design my own collection, but I want to do this for real and not just as a job beside doing music.

What do you say to the accusation of you apparently being anorexic?
It bores me. If people made an effort to actually investigate, this wouldn’t be a topic anymore. Just take a look at pictures of me from five years ago or look at old pictures from my vacations. I was as thin back then, as I am today. I’ve always been like this.

Your brother Tom says that you two smoked pot and drank alcohol at the age of 13. How abstinent are you today?
Since I’m really afraid of losing control, drugs never had a chance to make me addicted. I tried a lot of things out at an early age, which is why I can let it go now. I could never play a concert, when having taken something before. That’s unimaginable!

With just 20 years of age you met a lot of other celebrities. Who impressed you the most?
Jay-Z surprised us by watching one of our concerts in L.A. Then we went out to dinner with him. That was great. And Karl Lagerfeld also impressed me. Maybe it sounds silly, but I think I could get along with Britney Spears very well. We kind of led similar lives in the past years, so we’d probably be able to tell each other a lot.

Is it true that you’re a fan of Angela Merkel?
Yes, I like Angela Merkel a lot. Lately she got criticized a lot, but I have to say that I still trust her. I believe in her.

Now the boys from Tokio Hotel finally calm down…

The stalker group "Les Afghanes on Tour" followed their teen idols for months, - till 15th April 2009, when at a gas station in Hamburg came the fight: Supposedly Tom Kaulitz (20) punched the French, Perrine D. (21). She drowned out a cigarette on his car. A security camera shooted the fight.

The result: Tokio-Tom has been charged with assault and criminal damage. Now the prosectuon of the Hamburg-Altona court is eliminated and they abolished the 1000 euro fine. Perrine D. finished the procedure, "But Tom will gets a bonus-game in Germany! Normally the punch against me would have been more expensive."

Bild got to know that the stalker group dissolved in the meantime. The girls returned to France and don’t want to do anything with Tokio Hotel. The band might be happy.

Tokio Hotel singer Bill Kaulitz is afraid of assassination. In the new edition appearing on Saturday of the Hamburg magazine Stern admits the 20-year-old boy that it had already given situations, which had "bodyguards pull on the red carpet men who stood with a knife and had disguised himself as a fan." Without bodyguards, he would never leave the house. "Attacks? I do believe that something could happen to me," said Bill Kaulitz to Stern. A normal life is no longer possible for him. "Germany is for us something like a giant Big Brother House. Always is watching us the people." Nevertheless, the native of Magdeburg do not want to leave his residence Hamburg. "Here, my family lives here, my home. I could not bring myself to turn back on Germany’s."

The pop star, who is currently on a European tour with his band, is adored by millions of female fans around the world, but is still single. "This is the big gap in my life. Since I was 14, I was no longer in love," says the Tokio Hotel singer stern. "I am looking for a girl with whom I share a spiritual kinship." Groupie sex disgusted him against it. The constant rumors about his alleged homosexuality, it would now be surprised and amused. "The people must be bored but slowly to death."

The Chancellor believes Kaulitz loyalty. "Yes, I like Angela Merkel a lot," he confesses in the stern. He still had a "very great confidence in them," even though she was recently criticized "quite often been". Kaulitz: "I believe in her."

Wow! Bravo has the first photos about the new Tokio Hotel-Show!
This will be the biggest Tokio Hotel tour of all time! Bravo caught Bill (20), Tom (20), Gustav (20) and Georg (21) during the rehearsals for their big "Welcome to Humanoid City"-tour (32 concerts in 19 countries) in London. We can see that Bill drives with his mega-motor onto the stage. He wears his cray space-outfit – which is even lights. "We haven’t got even such a show", says Bill in the Bravo-interview. "We did everything together with the English stage designer, Misty Buckley", says Bill. "At the gig is going to happen a lot. The stage will change during the concert again and again. In addition, we will use a lot of pyrotechnics."
But not only on the stage, everything is new. "Now we have two tour buses – one for Georg and Gustav and one for Tom and me. The vehicles were specially converted, and enlarged with bathrooms so we can take a shower in it. Furthermore, now there are separate rooms where you can defile."
Just now the XXL-tour arrived to Luxemburg – unfortunately currently there are two planned concerts in Germany (26.02. Oberhausen and 28.02. Hamburg).

(ham) – It was the moment of the truth, the moment, which about 4000 mostly female Fans had been waiting for so long. Some have been brave and stood outside during the snow and the rain, they neglected their health and hygiene and stayed in front of the Rockhal for days, just to be in the front row for a second, when their favorite Band rocks the stage again, after break which lasted a year. This is what Tokio Hotel did on monday evening among defeaning screams, when their European Tour started officially at the Rockhal at 8.45 p.m.

As huge as the excitement of the audience was, the ticket sale for the "Welcome to Humanoid City"-Tour has however been significantly below the expectations. Because: Not a single venue could announce that it’s sold out. Not even the Rockhal. Even though the Tour started yesterday evening, just 4000 Tickets out of 6500 have been sold.

Grown-Up
The mood at the Rockhal wasn’t affected by it. When the lights went out at 8.45 p.m and an oversized sphere appeared on stage, the enthusiasm knew no bounds. Defeaning screams filled the Rockhal, when the androgynus Frontman of Tokio Hotel, Bill Kaulitz, began to sing the first words of "Komm" in front of the steam-punk-post-apocalyptic Stage-Scenery dressed in a Sci-Fi-Designer-Outfit from "Dsquared2" (who designed 5 stage outfits for the new show).

But the impressive Stage-Scenery and the complex light show couldn’t hide the initial weakness, which has been aggravated through a certain inertia among the protagonists of the show. Especially the Frontman, whose voice didn’t get any help from the sound-technic, hardly moved around.

The hits of their former Albums have been celebrated in particular – which was predictable, with the meager sales of their newest Album "Humanoid". Actually the musicians from Magdeburg – who unlike the majority of their fans, already left behind their Teenage-Years – show themselves from their grown-up side on the new, darker sounding Album. Yet such experiments have been fatal for some other artists. Maybe that’s the reason Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg are currently more present in the media because of their scandals and excursions into the world of fashion rather than some headlines about their music.

Four days before the concert in Oberhausen.

So this is a Tokio Hotel! Not far from the Köpi-Arena in Oberhausen, 50 fans have already camped to stand in the front row on the Tokio Hotel concert. Which is actually will be on Friday!

Tatiana (16) sits thickly bundled up in the tent and eats cold ravioli, Jessica (17) leafs a "Bravo", Sarah (15) trails an acne.

Tina (15) comes from Gelsenkirchen with her rolling suitcase. She gets #53 on the coveted list. This fact determines the order in which fans will be allowed to the concert. Everyone wants to stand in front!

Vivien (18) from Duisburg was already with 40 degrees fever in a concert. She travel to Warsaw for the band. Also French and Spanish fans are still there.

And how about the parents about this madness, Iszy Stern’s (17) mother to BILD: "I can not understand this vortex though. But the most important thing hat Iszy goes to school."

Not all parents are so strict. For many hardcore fans, school is a marginal thing – they tails for Tokio Hotel! Soon, the teens have to move with their tents.

Reason: The owner of the private parking, in which they have pitched their camp, allowed the camping only for the weekend. And right in front of the arena, they are not isolated…

Scream-alarm on Saturday night in front of Rockhal. The mood became really tense when 132 winners from Portugal were allowed to participate in a live probe of Tokio Hotel. Really bad for fans who waited out there. They had to endure behind closed doors.
Normally Tokio Hotel inspire thousands of spectators. A handful of Portuguese fans came on Saturday evening in the Rockhal to enjoy a sound check of the band.
In between they also gave autographs and photos. The 132 teenagers flew extra to Luxembourg as part of a MySpace-raffle of a Portuguese mobile operator.
After landing at about half past seven, it was a special bus to Belval to Rockhal. There they were now expected under a loud chorus of whistles and boos.
For many fans locally who waited for days in front of the hall, a small world was broken on Saturday night.
Why can they go inside and not we, that you could hear a lot. Insults also weren't a rare thing.
Shortly after 21 pm the Fan-program for visitors was running. Visibly happy but under renewed booing, they went in the buses and drove to the airport.
"It was incredible, I'm speechless. It is for me the first time I'm abroad and to experience something like this. I do find it a shame that the fans outside couldn't come in.", said Maria from Lisbon to tageblatt.lu.
Shortly before midnight, a passenger plane was launched in the direction of Portugal with 132 satisfied but tired faces. In front of the Rockhal, the emotions had been laid.
Many "besieging" retreated into their tents. They still have to wait until Monday for their big day.

Review:
The Portuguese girls behave themselves VERY WELL all the time. A huge THANK YOU to them otherwise all could be ruined. Everything was very relaxed, of course people cried and so, of course we had a blast and made many noise at the concert, but no high hysterisms that would let the boys not at ease or ruin the planed stuff.

I still can’t believe it! Phantomider acoustic is just BEAUTIFUL! And Pain of Love is so powerful! those were the best for me. They interacted a lot with us, they made eye contact with everyone, they waved. They were a step away from us. I don’t know if any images will be released from that, because I didn’t notice the press filming. I was just going around the stage… no stress, no nothing. NO ONE took camera or cells and no one tried. I think they were also happy for that, for being able to perform without everyone shooting flashes at them.

Bill is still beautiful and breath taking, he isn’t as skinny as he looks like. And with those tight jeans, sorry to say but you can’t avoid but to stare at his crotch. Of course, I didn’t look there all the time. hehe

We saw the stage with the lights of the hall on while waiting for them to come. WOW! It is sooo detailed, really cool! I told Georg and Bill, the stage was awesome, and they "really, did you like it?", and me "yes, its really cool." They were all excited about it, you can see they are really excited and happy with the tour and it’s just great!

When I told them "Tokio Hotel America sends you their love and best wishes for the tour", they were all surprised and repeated "Tokio Hotel America?" and Bill and Tom thanked. I just had to include you, because I love you all here too much.

The signing was inside the venue where the concert was, but we left and then came back. Again by groups, and guess who were first to go us! I was so lucky smart to have told the guy we had a group formed right at the beginning, we got called first for everything and we were all together. The VIPs going were to be the first entering for the signing, but the band security stopped them, they look at the bracelets and said: "pink bracelets (fans bracelets)", and they just "shoved" the vips aside and took us in. That was so funny!

There Gustav was first, then Georg, then Bill and then Tom. Bill was seated higher than the other in a high bench, and his legs crossed under the butt (sorry to be so specific but I don’t know how to say it in other way).

Manuel Lino the photographer with us, took the photos while we got our stuff signed. I have at least a photo where I must look like a dork. He and Optimus will send all the photos to us later.

You could get anything signed, but most just had the card because that’s what they told us to take and as I said everyone was really behaved, so many, maybe most just took take. I got that and my #6 card I had on my neck signed. hehe. Some fans asked them to sign their TH tattoos and so.

I am dead now though I don’t think I will be able to sleep. I will try to make a review tomorrow a little more. I really don’t know what else to tell you for now, I was really calm though through it all. Maybe because I had set my mind to say something and not just hi to them and somehow I manage it and I am so glad I did.

More, on stage Bill owns! The other were nice too, but Bill is beyond. They did the 5 songs, it was about half an hour. Many liked Humanoid Acoustic a lot, I myself think it’s more powerful if not acoustic. I didn’t see a piano for Tom, he played keyboards (don’t know exactly how those are called). Gustav though it’s in the middle now and more visible somehow, it’s still kinda invisible because either they put his drums up or you can’t see him very well. There is a lot of stairs in the stage, Bill went to the higher ones making some nice moves on the last song "Shadow", I wasn’t expecting for them to sing that one, it was a wonderful surprise and it is really touchy live. Bill’s voice is GREAT! nothing to worry about, strong and clear.

There was a press conference at the end of the signing. They answered in German and it was translated.

Sanremo, the day after: in our minds we still have yesterday’s wonderful performance, and again, the umpteenth proof of the love they get from the numerous Italian fans that came from all over Italy.

The only knotty point was RAI’s disrespectful behavior towards the band: the performance kept being pushed back ‘til the last minute (A/N: they came on stage one hour later as planned) and finally happened after midnight (causing more than few issues to the band and especially to the young viewer from home (A/N: probably because Saturday is a school day in Italy)).

And that’s not all: without a reason they cancelled the short interview that the host was supposed to do, the direction forgot to show Tom during the whole performance, they had been technical problems with the preparation of the instruments, with the logo on the screen and Gustav’s drums had been settled on stage in the wrong way. The point is, a very scandalous treatment for the most famous artists worldwide that walked on the Ariston stage.

If you agree with the fact that this behavior is unbearable, we invite you to write a letter to the Festival’s redaction, writing a mail of protest at festivaldisanremo@rai.it.

Making the most of his time abroad, Bill Kaulitz was spotted hanging out at the San Remo Song Festival 2010 in San Remo, Italy today (February 19).

Joined by his brother/Tokio Hotel bandmate Tom, the eyeliner-laden lead singer looked spiffy in a black outfit complete with fingerless gloves.

Yesterday, Bill and Tom were spotted grabbing a smoke break at the Nice, France airport en route to Italy.

And coming up next week, they’ll be hitting the road on Tokio Hotel’s "Welcome to Humanoid City Tour," going non-stop until mid-April.

19 Feb. During the press conference Tokio Hotel talked about their performance for tonight as hosts during the fourth evening of the festival. In addition to them, Jennifer lopez and Bob Sinclair will be there. "We made a good reharsal and we’re happy to perform tonight", says the german band and so successful among Italian young people.

• About your upcoming Humanoid City tour, didi you prepared something special?Can you tell us something?
B: We’ve been in London to prepare our new tour which will take us here for four concerts: the look will be different and inspired to the sci-fi world!

• Are you David Bowie fans? Did he have any influence on your music?
B: He’s not our favourite musician. Sure he’s a talented musician but every kind of music is different from one another.

• You said you believe in extra-terrestrials: is it true or bulls*it?
B: It’s true. But we don’t think they’re green with feelers.

• You organized an initiative for Haiti. Did you think about it?
B: We really appreciate this initiative which was incouraged by our fans.

• Aside from being style icons would you like to reach a wider audience and what are your goals, speaking of music?
B: We’re a young band and it’s normal for us to have young fans: we don’t play for some audience in particular, we basically play for us. For us it’s the same.

• What would you like to communicate to your young audience?
B: We’re 4 young men and what we do is singing: every song as got its own message and we wish for them to understand this message.

Heartbreaking brothers Tom and Bill Kaulitz made their arrival into the Nice airport in France earlier today. If you are wondering why the stars from Tokio Hotel are looking so tan, its because they just wrapped up their holiday in the Maldives where they were photographed on the beach.

The band which counts Bill Kaulitz as lead vocalist, Tom Kaulitz on guitar, Georg Listing on bass and Gustav Schäfer on drums, are set to kick off their European tour which includes a stop at the San Remo Festival in Italy on February 19th.

Tokio Hotel twins Tom and Bill Kaulitz enjoys some cancer sticks after arriving at the airport in Nice, France on Thursday (February 18).

Bill, and Tom, 20, are set to start their "Welcome to Humanoid City Tour" with Tokio Hotel in Luxembourg on February 22nd. The tour finishes up in Paris, France on April 14th.

Tokio Hotel also just locked up the Best International Band award at the NRJ Awards in France last month.
