Hello there <3
It's tomorrow! Since the concert of 16th March in Lisbon (PT) at the Atlantico Pavillion was cancelled (it'll be on 29th June) due to Bill's voice issues, the tomorrow (1st June) concert at Rock in Rio Lisboa will be their first show here in Portugal!
I'll be there and I'm so excited! I was also at Atlantico Pavillion on 16th March and since that concert was postponed to 29th June I'll be there too...so I'll see them twice in the same month! I just hope that this time everything goes along well, I'm expecting an awesome show for tomorrow!
Since Rock in Rio is a festival, there will be another bands performing...their concert will be in the main stage (Palco Mundo) and it will start at 8:30pm (20h30m), during +- 1 hour and a half! ^^ You can check for more informations here!
The concert will be transmitted live in Sic Radical, which is a Portuguese channel...but if you don't have that channel or you're from another country, that's not a problem: you can watch the whole show live at 8:30pm (20h30m - GMT +00) here! :D
There are no more news for now, tomorrow the site won't be updated since I'll be at their concert...I wish everyone who will be there like me to have lots of fun and to enjoy a great show!
Have a nice day! <3

Hello <3
I'm sorry for the lack of updates but there weren't any news about the boys in these last few days, so I couldn't update the site!

The episode nº 28 (Tokio Hotel in Europe - Comet 2008) of Tokio Hotel TV is now online and it shows the terrific night the boys had on 23rd May...you really need to watch it! :D

There are only 3 days missing for their show here in Portugal at the Rock in Rio Lisbon Festival (1st June)...OMG, I'm so excited, I can't wait more!
And there is also 1 month left for their other concert here in Lisbon, Portugal, on the 29th June at the Atlantico Pavillion!

Have a great day! <3

Hi there <3
Today I bring you two articles about the boys plus some new graphics I've made!

Stars at the Comet Awards

OBERHAUSEN Bill Kaulitz must be a happy person. He’s as close to himself as thousands of teens would love to be. Being close to Bill Kaulitz really only means one thing to them: Pure luck. And only one single moment is needed to prove that all the torture was worth it. And that moment was given on Friday in Oberhausen before the handing out of the Comet Music Awards.

Hundreds of Kaulitz fans waited by the barriers. For the one man that embodies Tokio Hotel. Some for hours and some for days. “We’re here since Wednesday,” Kathrin und Lauren call out from the wall of waiting girls. The girls from Dortmund have made it. In front of them, on the other side of the fence, lies the red carpet. Behind them five rows are pushing forward. “I have blue marks everywhere.”, Kathrin tells. They’re not going to use the bathroom. “I’ve hardly slept. Because of excitement and coldness,” Kathrin continues. They spent the night in sleeping bags in front of the hall before they got sent away to the tram stop. “It has to be that way.”, they’re convinced. Why? “Because that’s how it goes.”

The dams are breaking

Instead of black limousines rolling by, less glamorous ambulances drive down the drive through first. Strong men are carrying weak bodies. At last: All the dams break when the boys of Tokio Hotel step out of their car. Screams of pain. The pushing is now getting frightening. Amongst the screams of joy are also screams of pain. Bill and Tom Kaulitz and their band mates busy themselves by giving a few autographs.
Bill’s silver scarf glitters in the sun, his hair he wears straight. Something to talk about for the fans for the next few weeks. The faces of the girls looking upon there idols? Twisted in pain. Bill Kaulitz must be really happy to be Bill Kaulitz. He’s simply standing on the right side of the fence.

After the vocal cord surgery
Is Tokio Bill smoking his voice broken?

His serious vocal cord surgery isn’t even two months back, but it seems as if “Tokio Hotel’s” singer Bill Kaulitz [18] didn’t learn from that shock. Now he was caught with a cigarette back in his mouth! Is the singer smoking his voice away?

At the Comet Awards, the Magdeburgers won 4 prizes, and celebrated till the early hours of the morning. Drinking and smoking too…

BILD am SONNTAG asked Bill yesterday afternoon if he knows that smoking can endanger his music career.

Bill Kaulitz answers: “The healing of the wounds on the vocal cords is completely over, but I still smoke very little. I totally take care of my voice, but after the whole stressful weeks, I just really wanted to let myself go and relax on that awesome evening.”

An attitude that medics see as risky and irresponsible. Professor Ralph Mösges, doctor of the ENT at the Uni-Clinic Cologne tells BamS: “After an operation, the vocal cords still react sensitive to the smallest irritations. Especially when a vocal cord cyst was taken away like by Bill. Even the littlest amount of toxins like nicotine can do a lot of damage during the recovery phase.”

Hello guys <3
Like I said yesterday (what a night!), today there will be lots of news about the COMET 2008...so here I am to update you!

Comet Awards 2008
Tokio Bill, where art thou spikes?

Ooh, did someone leave their hairspray in the USA?

They’ve only just been on their triumphal journey through the States, now in Oberhausen - to the big “Comet” awards; Tokio Bill arrived with an unusually straight hairstyle. The excitement of his fans had no stop.

The four boys practically had a “Comet” shower over them: They took four of the eight prizes home. The Viva viewers chose them amongst other categories for “Best band” and “Best live act”. The ball for the “Best artist” went to scandal rapper Bushido. The nominated stars themselves awarded Herbert Grönemeyer as their “Star of stars”.

La Fee, Udo Lindenberg and Bushido - The who-is-who of the music scene mingled their way through on the red carpet in front of the arena in Oberhausen.

The “Comet 2008? has been given out for the past 13 years.

“We received many letters in the past week to our record company in Berlin from fans that wished that we could be at the ‘Comet’ in Oberhausen. We’ll be there, promise.” Bill gave away to BILD.de prior to the awards.

And look: They kept their word!

(Source: Bild.de - translation by Lenny from tokiohotelus.com)

Triumph: Tokio Hotel Rocks at the Comet!

It's a real sensation - Tokio Hotel just flew back from the states, to come to the award show in germany and then it happens: The 4 guys from Magdeburg win in 3 of the regularly 6 Categories at the Comet 2008 and then they also get the SUPER COMET!
Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg can't believe it, they are soooooo happy! After the Award Show, Bill told us: "The support from our Fans really blew us away...I'm speechless!" And Tom said: "I think everybody knows now, who has the best fans ;-) No really - we are really proud of our fans...they are great!"

Win the Tokio Hotel Best Band Comet!

Sensational - Tokio Hotel were THE Winners of the night at the VIVA Comet award show. Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg were really happy and hadn't thought that they would win so many Comets! All this you, the fans made possible, because of that the Band decided on the Stage, to give one of the 4 Comets to their Fans!
Now you have the chance to win one of the 4 awards - it's the Comet for the best band! Everything you have to do, is to fill the formular down there. Fans from every country have the chance to win the comet! The contest ends on the 12th of June.
Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg want to thank all Fans for their great support...the boys are really happy to see their german fans on the 13th of June in Germany at the concert!

Enter in the contest!

How Tokio Hotel celebrated at the "Comet"

The guys of Tokio Hotel have had yesterday a cause to celebrate: Tom (18), his brother Bill (18), Gustav (19) and Georg (21) won in total 4 of the hot "Comet"-trophys! After the ceremony, the band celebrated!

With alcohol and cigarettes, the four celebrated their victory - even Bill took a cigarette and a long drink glass. An unusual sight, always his twin brother Tom was known as a "Bad Boy", like heself told after he had an drug search in New York. Above all his dreadlock-hair, suspected Tom himself, brings him this image.

Admittedly, Bill looks innocenter then Tom - especially after smoothing his wild mane. But appearances are deceiving, as you see...

Hi guys <3
Today the update is quick, I'm just leaving you here one article about the boys and a video!

Drug control

Tokio Hotel’s Tom held in New York

Los Angeles - these locks attract - and not just girls, but also drug investigators.

Tom [18] of “Tokio Hotel” was held for about an hour during their US tour at the New York airport and was searched for drugs.

His brother Bill [18] and Gustav [19] and Georg [21] were always let through.

Tom: “I think they’re always out to get me because of my dreadlocks, which they probably immediately connect with drugs.”

Instead of finding the forbidden in his luggage, the investigators found amongst other things 20 baseball caps and a whole bunch of condoms.

Despite the search through stress, the US trip was a big success for “Tokio Hotel”.

Their album “Scream” crawled up to number 5 in the charts!

Today the boys can be seen at the “Comet Awards” in Oberhausen. Bill: “We came back extra early for this.”

Hello there <3
Today I bring you some news!

Tokio Hotel rock the US-charts

It is a sensation! Tokio Hotel have gone in the American Billboard Rock Charts from zero to number five with their English album Scream. Now it’s official: The four boys from Magdeburg have made it in the country of the unlimited possibilities.

“We didn’t expect such a fan response in the USA and are very grateful for it,” tells frontman Bill to Bild.de.

In Germany and France Tokio Hotel have already been superstars for a long time, now also in the USA there is a screaming alert and massive hysteria, when Bill & Co. show up.

With that they have conquered the toughest music market in the world. The live performances in New York, L.A. and at the talkshow Conan O’Brien have payed off - now also the USA has caught the Tokio Hotel virus!

On Friday Germany will have Tokio Hotel again. For the Comet Awards the band will travel back from the USA!

Hi there <3
Today I bring you three articles with news and some videos of their last concert too!

Figures of success for the band
Who's earning money of Tokio Hotel?

Where Tokio Hotel performs, fans scream. As the cashregister is ticking the CD and merchandise sales are sky high. But who's actually earning money on this? really deserves in the bustle? BILD explains.

The Magdeburg quartet earn more cash than average in the industry. Other artists receive an average of 17 percent of the sale price on their CDs, Tokio Hotel and their producer team earn between 20 to 25 percent.

However, the German highachievers also lower the costs for the record label. The band records the tracks themselves and provides finished material, reports "Welt am Sonntag".

In three years Tokio Hotel has generated 40 million euros in revenues on record sales alone. Furthermore the merchandise sales include double-digit millions per year.

In addition, the boys have reached "Priority Status" at their record company Universal Music Germany. That means that all Universal subsidiaries have to market Tokio Hotel in their country. The special status also result in the German subsidiary recieving double-digit percentage in commision on the sales in the U.S.

That has never happened before. That must also make the band surprisingly happy.

It is now confirmed: Tokio Hotel will be at the COMET 08 on 23rd May! :D

(Source: Bild.de - translation by beertje_86 from tokiohotelus.com)

VIVA gets Tokio Hotel from overseas to the COMET 2008 in Oberhausen

The big surprise is perfect: Tokio Hotel will be coming from the United States directly to the COMET 2008. VIVA will be getting our on US tour highly vowed rockband back to where their impressing musical triumph in 2005 began: the VIVA COMET in Oberhausen. Hello guys <3

Hello guys <3
Tom and Bill gave an interview to Bild.de talking about their sucessful US-tour:

“Tokio Hotel“ EXCLUSIVE: Bill and Tom talk about their triumphant US-tour
BILD 12.05.2008

Germany’s most successful rockband “Tokio Hotel” are still on their promotiontour in the USA for their English album “Scream” (“Schrei”). They flew after a tv-performance in New York to Los Angeles at the weekend, where they will perform today a concert. BILD talked with the twins Bill (18) and Tom Kaulitz (18) about their success in America.

BILD: You’ve just arrived in Los Angeles. What is the difference for you between L.A. and New York?
Bill: These are two entirely different worlds for me. New York is much more European. L.A. is more like what a European imagines as America.

BILD: Tomorrow you’ll play the first complete concert after Bill’s OP in Hollywood. Are you excited?
Bill: Yes, sure, shit, we’re in panic because of our excitement. Furthermore it’s the only US-concert. We are always nervous, but this time it’s even worse.

BILD: How do you feel now after you’re so successful in the USA?
Tom: We are so happy about the big fan-resonance here in the USA, but nevertheless I see the whole thing more as a first succès dèstime.

BILD: You call that a succès dèstime? Usually you’re not that modest.
Tom: Don’t worry, when we talk the next time about girls, then I’ll be immodest again for sure (laughs) No, seriously: I believe the really big USA-success will only come with complete new and worldwide not released songs. We have the aim to release the third album worldwide at the same time.
Bill: But we’re of course very happy anyway and thankful for what happens here right now in the USA. Some months ago we would never have expected that. But we just don’t want to overrate the US-success so far.

Hello there <3
Today I leave you here a newspaper article from Bild.de, a video with the guys performance on Conan O'Brien and some pictures too!

Cap instead of wild mane
Tokio-Bill without makeup in New York

Would you have recognized Bill Kaulitz in this photo? The usually so glamourish singer of the band “Tokio Hotel” strolls with no makeup at all and in normal street-clothes in New York’s district SoHo. With him are his brother Tom (18) and their producer and manager David Jost.

Tokio Hotel are on a promotion-journey through America at present to promote their English album “Scream” (“Schrei”). At various performances the four German boys were celebrated euphorically, the album is currently at place 13 of the American iTunes-charts. It’s still rising.

The famous “Times Square” in New York is plastered with huge placards of the band, their music runs at the tv-music-channel “MTV” up and down.

“When I drove along at “Times Square” on Thursday evening, I saw absolutely unprepared the MTV-placards and I was first totally startled”, Bill Kaulitz said to BILD. “That is really super, what’s going on here in New York at present. I expected much less after all the cancelled US-concerts.”

Bill had to take a forced break because of his vocal cord surgery for five weeks. Almost all sold out concerts had to be cancelled. Nevertheless, the success of the band in the USA is unstoppable.

Bill’s twinbrother Tom Kaulitz to BILD: “I’m so happy about the fan-rush here. And that we were already at the second release-day at place 13 of the American iTunes-charts, thrilled me completely. But I don’t understand it. The US-fans got already our songs from Europe from the internet and can sing along every song completely by heart for months.”

Tom adds: “Already at the last US-trip three months ago I have signed “Scream”-CD’s in piles, which the US-fans had ordered from Italy and other countries. I have no clue, why they buy the album now one more time, but I’m happy of course.”

Today (yesterday) “Tokio Hotel” will perform in the US-talkshow “Conan O’Brien”. At Sunday they will play a big concert in Los Angeles.

The signs are for “Tokio Hotel” at storm to make it in America to real superstars!

Hello <3
Today I bring you one newspaper article and one promo video for the European Tour!
Here Tokio-Bill is strutting through Soho
And where did his mega hair go anyway?

Again the boys from “Tokio Hotel”.

I can’t get over it, I’ve never seen Bill [18] look so casual like in this photo.

Made during a stroll down Soho (Part of Manhattan, New York) Outfit: Normal (t-shirt, jeans, college jacket, sunglasses). Escort: Common (Brother Tom, producer David Jost). Hair: Jippieh! (I am happy not seeing the – hedgehod – I put my finger in a socket hairdo). Seems really cool, the boy. I can’t see the darkened eyes, finally a human look. I really like it.

After taking a better look and comparing the photos from stage Bill and Private Bill I wonder: Does Bill wear a wig when he is on stage? Yes, yes, I know, it’s a hairdo from Magdeburg and so, flick up, colouring and ready is the Kill-Bill, but I am kinda insecure. Admitted, he is wearing it down, that’s clear.

But beneath that base cap it doesn’t look like that big do – “Tokio Hotel” is moving on in New York, working there way down the list. Today a interview with Rolling Stone magazine, tomorrow the late night show “Conan O’Brien”, and Sunday a flight to L.A., on the 13th a concert in “Avalon” in Hollywood, on the 14th on to Canada, Toronto, Montreal. The first German concert since the surgery of Bill will be on the 13th of June in Westfallenhalle.

Update on Bill’s vocal condition: “Pleasant again, nevertheless, we are still closely watching it, that Bill will take his rest”, writes Jost to me.

Hi there <3
I'm bringing you a big update with some news and some graphics too!

The episode nº 25 (TH Special - Scream U.S.) of Tokio Hotel TV is now online and it is really cute, because our boys are speaking in english, they are really improving!

Alloy Interview

How awesome was it to have Tokio Hotel blog on Alloy?! They may not be giving us weekly updates, but we haven’t lost touch with our fave German boys, Bill, Tom, Georg, and Gustav! Wanna know what these hotties look for in a girl? Read on!

What’s the difference between your US and European fans?
Bill: Every fan is really different and individual. But what they all have in common is the energy they show. I like to call our fans very energetic, engaged and intense. We always say our nightmare would be an audience that applauses politely. Fortunately, our fans are completely the opposite — they are everywhere we go and welcome us loudly and very powerfully. They scream and sing along with us all the time. We love, love that. And we were really glad to find out that the American fans share that energy!

How does it feel to have such a fan base in the US before your album was even released?
Tom: We were absolutely blown away! It was incredible. When we got the chance to go to Canada and America, we were flattered, but we didn’t expect such a reaction at all. We just thought, “Great! Let’s go over there and see what happens.” Then we found out that our shows were all sold out even though we’ve never been to the States. Remember when we were walking on Sunset Boulevard and a car drove by and the people rolled down the window and screamed, “Welcome to America, guys!”?
Georg: Yes, that was incredible.
Bill: We couldn’t wish for anything more!

Do you have any pre-performance rituals?
Bill: We don’t have like real rituals before a show. But like an hour before we go on stage we need to be alone in our backstage room. It’s just the band then.
Tom: Bill, Georg, and me sit down together being nervous. We go crazy talking about everything that could go wrong and just get more nervous every minute.
Georg: Except Gustav. He likes to be by himself and listen to music before a show.
Gustav: I would go crazy if I would spend time with them — they get frantic! If you could see them, you would do the same!

What’s on your tour rider?
Tom: We are pretty easy when it comes to that. All we really need is some ice tea, water, some coke, tea for Bill, fresh fruits, some candy, and pasta or pizza.

Who’s your dream musical collaboration?
Tom: So far, we haven’t done any collaboration, and we haven’t really thought about it. But who wouldn’t like to share a stage with the Rolling Stones.
Gustav: Or the Foo Fighters.
Georg: There are a lot of great bands out there!

Of all the awards you’ve won, which is the most meaningful to you?
Tom: We can’t pick one. I mean, each and every single has a real meaning to us and stands for a special time in our lives. And it’s always great to receive an award ’cause it tells you you’re doing right! We never expected something like this — winning awards, playing three German tours, three European tours, and now going over to America. All we ever wanted is to play live — that’s what we are about. I would say all the awards that were voted by our fans are the most precious to us ’cause it’s such a great response and shows us how much our fans are supporting us. They are really the best!

Which music video has been your favorite to make?
Tom: We hate video shoots. Most of them really sucked — they always take over 20 hours, it’s always cold and rainy, always quiet exhausting. But the best one so far was the shoot of “Scream” — that one was really fun.

What’s your favorite song on Scream?
Bill: It changes all the time and we differ between most favorite tracks on the album and most favorite tracks to play live. Live, mine is “Scream.”
Georg: “Break Away”
Gustav: Live, I like “Raise Your Hands”
Tom: “Don’t Jump.” But like Bill said, it changes all the time and tomorrow it can be totally different.

If you were given a week vacation, where would you go, and what would you do?
Tom: We are all big fan of little islands far, far away. All we need is a beach, great weather, and the ocean.
Georg: We all like to relax on vacation. I got into scuba diving. But in general, we all like to hang out, sleep in as long as possible, eat, and sleep again. Gustav is different. He gets up early and is quiet active.
Gustav: Yes, I like to go for a ride on a bike, and I also like to ski in the winter.

What do you look for in a girl?
Tom: It’s not important if she has blonde, brown, black, or red hair — I like all girls. It has to click. I like self-confident girls. She should be more the unreachable type and give me a hard time — I like that.
Bill: I’m not into one-night stands or easy flirts. I’m very romantic. I believe that there’s somebody out there for everybody. There’s no guarantee that you meet that one right person — those who find them are really lucky. I don’t have a specific type. For me, it’s important that she understands what I’m doing. I don’t have much time, and music will always come first. So I’m looking for a girl that makes me laugh, that I can trust, and being true is really important for me. I guess I will know when she standing in front of me.

Are you guys single?
Georg: Yes, we are all single.
Tom: Well, I don’t have really long term relationships. But compared to the others who have NO experiences at all, I’m pretty lucky with the girls…
All: Ohhhh!

Would you ever date a fan?
Bill: Why not? I always think that would be great because they live this life with us and really know what we are doing.
Tom: When it happens, it happens, right?!

Who’s your celebrity crush?
Bill: I still like the Olsen twins.
Tom: Jessica Alba is really hot!
Georg: I agree — she’s great. I also like Eva Longoria.
Gustav: Eva Mendez is really cool as well.

What would you do if you weren’t musicians?
Bill: I don’t know! I never wanted to become something other than a singer and an artist. Can you imagine me behind a counter in a bank? No, me neither. And actually singing is the only talent I’ve got and what I’m really good at. So there was no other way for me than this one!

This is how Tokio Hotel conquers New York
Groupie alarm! All over America they are going crazy about the boys from Germany

Now he can finally speak and sing again, Bill (18). And if I am right, then the groupies from Tokio Hotel are more obedient to Bill than before the surgery.

A really good recruiting team, for the teeny band. New York loves the four stars from Germany. First the sold out concert in “Giants Stadium” on Saturday and then the long awaited for album “Scream” that went to number 13 in the USA I-tunes charts, a short live performance at MTV TRL, and yesterday a signing session in the “Virgin Megastore” at Times Square, where the hopelessly in love girls were standing in rows around the block in thei converse shoes, small jeans, flat stomachs underneath there short tops.

The craziness must feel like a comeback after 29 years. Tokio Hotel are totally surprised, tells manager and producer David Jost, really happy of course, especially since all the US-fans can sing every word in English and German.

What else can there be concluded than that: The vocal cord surgery didn’t harm anyone. I am really happy for the boys. A private life, there just ain’t any. The rather this total madness.

Some of the fans camped outside for two nights at Times Sqaure to be first at the performance in the huge Music store “Virgin store”.

Tokio Hotel singer Bill (18) tells BILD: “I thought the fans would blame us for the many cancelled US concerts and really didn’t count on this many fans in the USA.”

Hi there <3
Today I bring you an huge update with news, since there are some newspaper articles about the guys performance in the Bamboozle Festival!

Bill Kaulitz – he sings again for the Americans
Welt online 04.05.2008

Singer Bill Kaulitz was not allowed to speak a word for 4 weeks – and “Tokio Hotel” couldn’t play concerts anymore, the European tour was cancelled. Now the young Magdeburgers celebrated their mini-comeback: at a festival in New Jersey. Snoop Dog performed before them.

A Cyst had to be removed from his left vocal cord, and after the operation there was strict silence for him, because his voice had to be trained carefully.

A full month without Bill! For the fans of Tokio Hotel this situation grew to a nightmare.
“I thought: Oh god! Hopefully nobody takes me that amiss,” Bill commented the situation, “and hopefully nobody was angry.” For many haters it was more like a holiday for the ears. Tokio Hotel polarizes like no other band.

At Saturday night now the Magdeburger stood with his three bandmates – twinbrother Tom Kaulitz (18), Gustav Schäfer (19) and Georg Listing (21) – on stage in New Jersey. At the “Bamboozle-festival” – the first performance after the operation.

Because of the still prescribed vocal cord-rest Tokio Hotel only played three songs.
“4000 fans stood in front of the stage and could sing every song along by heart,” band-manager David Jost says. And that, though the US-album isn’t released yet.
“Bill seemed to be pretty impatient and tensed up before the performance, but when he stood on stage, all the excitement was forgotten,” Jost describes the first performance.

At the festival in New Jersey performed already celebs like the Rolling Stones, Prince and Nirvana. Now the American rapper Snoop Dogg stood on stage before the Magdeburger. A full blood musician, who looked at the German newcomers with interest for sure. But the quartet has to get used to that fast.

Already at Thursday the four boys will be in the Late Night Show of Conan O’Brien, and at May 13th they will perform their only complete concert in the US at the Avalon in Hollywood.
“Bill has turned the hearts of the New Yorker again to the left,” manager Jost believes.

Tokio Hotel stood on stage in New York already at February. The “New York Times” published in their online-issue a cover story with video about the band “from Germany.” There you can see the known love-offers on placards and chanties: “We love Tokio Hotel.”
No matter, where the band performs, they put the fans in a state of emergency.

Bill storms again the stage
New York celebrates Tokio Hotel

BILD 05.05.08

Only five weeks after his vocal cord operation, rockstar Bill Kaulitz (18) performed again in front of his audience.

Bill’s voice – powerful and full of energy like never before!

Manager and producer David Jost: “Bill was pretty nervous and couldn’t wait to storm finally on the stage.”
Bill added after the performance: “It was a relief to sing again in a mic after such a long time.”

The whole week Tokio Hotel will run from date to date and will give interviews to American medias. Next week their CD “Scream” (“Schrei”) will be released in the US.

Tokio-Bill screams again

At the “Bamboozle festival” in New York, Tokio Hotel performed for the first time after Bill’s vocal cord surgery.

“Schrei! Bis du du selbst bist”, it goes in the song of Tokio Hotel.

Bill (18) is himself again - and can finally scream again. 34 days after his vocal cord surgery he was standing on stage again Saturday night at the “Bamboozle festival” in New York in America.

“The last weeks after the surgery seemed like an eternity to Bill. It was a liberation for him, to be finally back on stage again,”“Bill has conquered the hearts of the New Yorkers,” according to Jost.

Especially to female fans. Proud, they show on internet sites their arm with signature. Some of them are learning German to be able to sing along the songs of the four Tokio Hotel boys.

Besides that, Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg also sing songs in English (1. “Ready, Set, Go - Übers ende der welt”, 2. “Break Away - Ich brech Aus”, 3. “Monsoon”). And the almost 4000 fans could sing all the songs off by heart, even though the “Tokio Hotel” CD isn’t even out yet in the US.

A mega succes for the four boys, that will finally play in Germany again on 13 June. In the sold out Dortmund Westfallenhalle in front of screaming girls that will also be able to finally be themselves again…

Hello <3
Today I am here to leave you some news!

The first Interview with Bill from “Tokio Hotel” after his Operation!
with bild.de

Click HERE to watch the video at Bild.de!

Narrator: He had scared his fans, for weeks he couldn’t speak. But now it’s back, the voice of the successful band Tokio Hotel. In the exclusive interview with BILD singer Bill tells us what he went through.

Bill: It was just like this with me. Nothing worked. And they said, “Alright, if we don’t remove this it’ll keep coming back and then it won’t be possible to go on singing”, and that was a real shock-news after that week... all the uncertainty. After the better news in the middle and all the setbacks. That was the point where you knew, allright now you're out of order for at least four weeks.

The thing you were most scared of was... the surgery, general anesthesia and stuff, that brings you down quite a lot. And beforehand I had watched a horror movie. And there, there was a man... I don’t even remember the name of it... anyways there was such a man and he was under general anesthesia but he still noticed everything, but he couldn’t tell. That means he really was lieing there and the doctors thought everything was fine – he had to undergo a surgery on his heart – and they cut him open and he notices everything and actually wants to tell them, but he can’t because he can’t move...
And I watched such things of course beforehand, and thought to myself, ok the most important thing is that I fall asleep and don’t notice anything of it. That was really the most important thing for me.

Narrator: For 4 weeks he was out of order. The musician wasn’t even allowed to listen to his own music. The 18-year-old spent the time alone in front of the TV, and wrote enthusiastically and additionally was worrying about his fans.

Bill: It is incredible what came from the fans, how they reacted. I was really thinking “Omg, hopefully noone will be mad at me because of this” and it really helped to see that somehow everybody is worried and that everybody is somehow there and all go this way with me and don’t leave me behind. That was anyhow really helpful during that time. There were really cute things amongst it... one(girl) sent a ruff/tobey collar because she of course didn’t exactly know what was wrong with me. But in any case, there were also inhaling machines and much more... well it was incredible. I really have one side of the fridge full with things that I have(???) and then there are really boxes with doubles. So it is really incredible. Lots of stuff has arrived, and I think I couldn’t really see everything, but in any case the bigger part of it.

Uhm... I think I’m looking forward to seeing the stage, seing the people, from the crew, to really see all those people again. And most of all the fans. Really to see that I can stand there again with a microphone in my hand, and something comes out. And I can really make the people, the audience happy. That was the worst for me that the tour had to be cancelled, that all the disappointed fans, who really had already been waiting in front of the venue, had to go home. And (the fans) who had been looking forward to the concert for so long. And I can imagine really well how much that sucks, and yeah I was incredibly sorry for everything. I really am looking forward to standing there again and to being able to make all the people happy.

Narrator: Already on Thursday Tokio Hotel are leaving for America. Here they want to present their new record “Scream”. What remains, is to hope, that Bill doesn’t lose his voice again.

First concert after the surgery

They are on stage again! And right away in new York too!

Tomorrow (today) Bill (18), Tom (18), Gustav (19) and Georg (21) from Tokio hotel will play 3 songs in the US metropol on a festival - and all their fans are incredibly relieved.

Because it is the first concert of the band since the vocal cord operation of the singer Bill about a month ago.

In a interview, that can exclusivly be seen at BILD.de, Bill talks about his fears from before and after the surgery.

“The diagnosis was a real shock,” the singer tells. “I was afraid that I could never talk again.”

“After the surgery I wasn’t allowed to talk for ten days, or laugh or whisper: I didn’t think I would make it, but the fear for my voice was too great.”

When Bill was allowed to speak again his voice sounded unfamiliar.
“It sounded strange, somehow unknown. After a few days that was over.”

Can he ever sing again without fear?
Bill: “I won’t ever forget this experience and will never be totally without worry. But I survived and hope that it will never happen again.”

Hello guys <3
I bring you some news today and later I'll make a graphics update almost for sure!

The episode nº 24 (TH in Germany Part II) of Tokio Hotel TV is online and it is so awesome! It shows Tom, Georg & Gustav on the Kart Track...these guys are so funny!

Tokio Hotel were at the Habbo Chat yesterday, before leaving Germany on their way to U.S.! Check the questions and the guys answers!

Burning Questions for Tokio Hotel...

souljaboy88: Are you guys from Germany?
Tom: Yes, of course. We are all from a little place called Magdeburg.

The-Forgotten.:Where You Been Friends Before You Formed The Band?
Georg: Gustav and I met at music school and we became friends before we met Tom and Bill after one of their performances. That’s seven years ago and we all became really close friends.

lollipopthe: How did you guys get discovered?
Bill: We really put all our time and energy in our music. We sent tapes to record labels and Mtv, we made our own CD and sold it, we played as often and as much as we could. And then, finally one night, a producer saw us performing in a club!

:Michael,: What inspired you to choose the name: "TokioHotel"?
Tom: We used to have another band name. But after we met our producer and we started working in the studio we wanted another name – one that fit us better. We all like big cities, plus it really sounds cool. Also we were looking for a symbol that would represent our live as musicians – we pictured us staying most of the time in hotels, which became true. Here you go: Tokio Hotel.

.:Dragon16:.: How old are you?
Bill: Tom and I will turn 19 in September, Gustav will turn 20 and Georg just turned 21 in March.

btm=12: Who is your idol?
Tom: We never really had idols. We always wanted to do our own stuff, create our own style. Also we never could agree on ONE band or artist cause we have such a different taste in music.

Foxigirl: Do you have any pets?
Gustav: We all have a dog and a cat.

:CutiePatutie:: Why is your new album called Scream?
Bill: Well, it’s the title of our first German album. The English version is a mix of our favorite songs from the first and second album. Scream is def. one of them. And we love it’s message. The song is about standing up for yourself, speaking your mind and express yourself no matter what other people might say!

Elmo!,: I love the song Ready Set Go. But What Is It Really About?
Bill: It’s about going for you dreams, leaving everything behind you to start something new. It’s about tearing down walls and not being caught in life and rules.

Sxiandbad!: Do you prefer singing and recording songs in English or German?
Bill: By now the English songs feel like the German ones. But when it comes to writing I will always write in German and the songs will be then translated into English. German is my native language and it helps me express myself the best.

MattInc: What’s it like being on the road 24/7? Tom: We love it. Of course you don’t get to see your friends and family very often but you get to see so much. It’s über-exciting and what we always wanted.

!.NeWYorK122.!: Do you all get along or do you get in fights sometimes?
Tom: We are friends but of course we do fight as well. Even me and Bill.
Georg (laughing): Yeah, and you don’t want to be involved...

uloveme731: Did you always want to be rockstars?
Bill: I always wanted become a singer and the others wanted to become musicians. That’s why we started so early.

EasyFries: How do you get your hair so cool :D?
Bill: With a lot of hairspray ;)

luv.tOkiOhOtel: Hey Bill !! How's your throat ?! Got any cool scars ??

Bill: I’m totally fine thank you! No scars! I feel great and can’t wait to go back on stage!

Stonewolf: Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
All: ON STAGE!

That's it for now, later I'll update some new graphics and leave you more news if something comes out meanwhile! See ya <3
